Ranthambore Tiger Reserve The Pride of Rajasthan and loved by Thousands of Photographers.

When it comes to Ranthambore one cannot proceed without uttering the name of Tigress Machli -The Queen of Ranthambore or T16 or Lady of the Lakes and many more code names

Machli was the most famous tigress in India and possibly the most photographed tiger in the world and she ruled from 1997 -2016.

Machli died naturally in August 2016 at the age of 19 — one of the oldest surviving wild tigresses in history.

Then comes another legend T24 USTAD the King of Ranthambore Known for his muscular build, confidence, and territorial dominance,

In 2015, Ustad was accused of killing a forest guard, leading to a massive controversy..Following public concern for human safety, forest authorities relocated Ustad to Sajjangarh Biological Park (Udaipur)

🌿 Best Time to Visit

October – June

  • Peak season: October to March
    • Weather: Pleasant and dry (ideal for safaris).
    • Wildlife sightings: Tigers are easier to spot as water sources shrink, and animals gather around lakes and ponds.
    • Flora: Forests are lush after monsoon (October–November) and gradually dry out by March.
  • April to June
    • Weather: Hot (35–45°C), but the concentration of wildlife near remaining waterholes increases tiger sighting chances.
    • Safari experience: Early morning safaris are recommended to avoid heat.
