  • Distance:
    • Leh → Turtuk: ~150 km (~6–8 hours by road)
    • Turtuk → Tyakshi: ~10–15 minutes by road
    • Tyakshi → Thang: ~15–20 minutes by road

  • May to September is the best period to visit both Turtuk and Thang.
  • During these months:
    • Roads are fully accessible.
    • Weather is pleasant, with daytime temperatures ranging from 15°C to 25°C.

Staying at Tyakshi not only provides a comfortable base for exploring Thang but also offers remarkable stargazing opportunit
